Oh poor David.

David and The Contortionist must have had an excellent time last evening. I'll forgive the splintered chair. I  suppose I'll have to make a new one.

But David, You left in such a hurry you left 3 very important things at my place.

Your Left Foot.
Your Right Foot.
Your Insides.

Until Next Time.
Me.

  1. I think he was impressed by what you did with David's feet, he rarely leaves so much behind without bagging it and tagging it first. This is very fascinating indeed.

  2. Well he's not gonna have any fun dancing without those hehe

Seriously though... On the one hand, I could question the effectiveness of this mission of yours. On the other, I don't know that I could come up with much better, especially being stuck where I am.... hmm...

By the way, does the fact that your following Ritter and sharing your kills mean that you've decided to work with him? or are you just building to the next chance to attack?

  3. I'm... honored?

By the way, I do hope you clean up the mess. Blood and viscera begin to stink after a while.

  4. KnitWolf: I've looked into you and I've been meaning to ask: would you still follow your Master if he were on the losing team, or do you still feel you owe him for your revenge?
I hope you don't mind me asking such a question here, Dead One, I'll try not to make a habit of it.

  5. Dia- The pleasure is all mine doll. I'm pretty good at cleaning up my after parties. Eventually We'll get him. One by one.. we'll get him.

Cage- Not a problem at all. I like keeping my little piece of the interworld interesting. I enjoy the conversation.

    Until Next Time.

  6. Free- First off... I don't view Ritter as my master; more like the guy I work for.
It doesn't matter to me what "team" is losing or winning. I don't feel I owe him anything further for the revenge, as I fulfilled my end of the agreement. I do what I do now because I've acquired a taste for it, because I'm curious to see where this will go, and because I like the skinny bastard

Also, you can talk to me on my blog if you like, dear. I won't bite :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. KnitWolf: I don't fear your bite, your knife on the other hand seems much more firghtening. Regardless I didn't ask there because I didn't want you one of your fellow proxies to take note if you showed a distinct lack of loalyty to your cause. I don't want to place anyone I study in danger, but I suppose there was never any risk for you. I'll likely post on your blog from here on in if I have any more comments or questions for you.

  9. Heh... Thanks for your concern Free... but I'm sure there are some proxies who would want me dead over the concern I've shown for Dia or the fact that I'm talking to you or the fact that I don't call Ritter "father" to name a few things already... I really don't care if they take issue with what I say or do. They can come to me if they like...

  10. Knitwolf- I'm not familiar with "proxies" and what not. What are they and how are they related to my contorting spectre.

  11. I agree Dead One, and I usally sign off in such a way if my statement is neutral. However I base my singniture on the content of my posts, if I have been feeling concerned or helpful I sign it free (or freedom in extreme cases)otherwise I sign cage or caged. It's just one of my compulsions, feel free to call me whatever you wish, within reason of course.

  12. Well Sunshine, the simplest definition of a proxy would be a person who works for Ritter. Like me, for instance. Some are willing, some not so much. It's one of the many terms I've heard... chosen, agents, corrupted, among others. All amount to about the same.

  13. Though there are subcatagories of course: your meat puppets and hollowed ones, your cultists, your reverants, and others, possibly new types of allies for the One with the eating disorder that the runners haven't discovered yet. This is one of the driving factors behind my research, I do enjoy discovering things He has tried to keep hidden.

  14. Yes there are, if you want to delve deeper. The hollowed are what they sound like- the drones, the revenants are the higher levels- they often have supernatural powers, and the cultists I think are self explanatory. That's the best way I know to define them... Though some might argue with that... Seems the definitions change slightly depending on which blog you read hehehe

  15. KnitWolf-Cage- What would I be classified as?

    Me.

  16. I think that's up to you dear... If you even really want to be classified...

    ReplyDelete
  17. As of yet I would say none of the above, though let us take a look at your possible futures. You won't become hollowed, not unless you decide to run, I could see you fighting him, but never running, so I doubt you will ever be one of his meat puppets. Similarily you don't seem weak enough in mind or will to ever accecpt him as a god, and you've shown nowhere near the amount of awe most others have for his existince and actions, so I don't think you'll become a cultist. Based on what you have described of your interactions with him I could see you becoming a revenant, I've never seen a discription from one about their life leading up to the point they were transformed, so this could possibly fit the bill. However, I belive you will fall into a catagorey all your own, fill a role not yet witnessed by anyone, you will be unique, and this is why I study you. The give and take you have with the Bunissesman on a Diet is unlike anything I've heard of before, I have only seen rare instinces of his proxies of any class defy him, but you do it on a semi regular basis, and he lets you. This is new behavior for him, and I'm looking forward to what happens. Of course, as I implied before, I wouldn't even consider you a proxie just yet, just keep doing whatever it is you would do regardless, he'll let you know when you're ready for the next level.

  18. I just want to point out that not all proxies fit into the categories of revenants, hollowed, or cultists. I don't fit into any subcategory like that. I work for him out of my own free will and I don't think he's a god. As I said, I like Ritter, but I'm not in awe of him.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Of course, I never meant to imply that all "proxies" could be classified, in fact I am fairly sure that most don't, but specific things Dead One has mentioned make me think he's more important to The One With a Botched Nose Job then anyone else I've heard of so far. For example, I've only heard one other instence where he pressed his "face" into anothers the way Dead One describes, and it was before I even began my reasearch. I'm sorry for the long post before, I meerly get excited when discussing my findings and theroies, I will try to keep it breifer in the future, for more reasons than one.

  21. Don't know about Bittersweet, but I know long posts don't bother me... I'm fairly verbose myself. As for the classification issue, I just wanted to add that point for clarity, that's all.

    ReplyDelete
  22. KnitWolf and Cage- I don't mind the long posts at all. I like the insight. Why do you think he's let me survive when so many others have been killed? He's had ample chance to kill me.

    Until Next Time.
    Me.

    ReplyDelete
  23. He rarely kills anyone right away, he likes to play with his food. You however have remained this long for a diffrent reason, I belive. I know he has witnessed runners kill people, but usally it is for revenge or survival, you kill in the same way he does: slowly, carefully, and with pourpose. You need to kill, like others need to eat or sleep, and I think he senses a connection with you. Usally moving around will get him to leave you alone for a breif period of time, but he can find you anywhere with ease. I have more ideas, but I really can't share them or their reasonings, so I hope you are ready to find out the rest on your own.

  24. Cage- That makes a bit of sense. I suppose we are a little bit alike. For the record, I don't run from him. But you've peaked my interest in your ideas.
    Don't be a tease.

  25. Of course you don't run from him, that's why he can find you. Like the runners you move around, but unlike them it's not to hide from him, the action is the same but the motivation is diffrent. As for my theroies, I would love to share them, but I perfer my saftey, and to ensure that they must stay with me alone. Don't worry, if they're right you'll find out soon enough, and if they aren't, then it doesn't really matter, now does it?

  26. Caged- I can respect the fear for your safety. I've seen him do things to the human body that shouldn't be possible.

On a different note. I found your little cipher. The beginning is proving rather frustrating.

    I hate being frustraded.

  27. Sunshine- You know, I wondered that about myself... I think it comes down to use... He still sees some use for the both of us. The benefits he can get/has gotten from you seem to outweigh any trouble you have caused, and he certainly doesn't have to train you. You already know what you're doing enough to be an effective weapon for him. Hell, you even played a role in my decision to work with him willingly. While that's probably not a huge factor in his decision to keep you around, it is still another way that you have proven yourself useful to his cause.

  28. By the way, I just noticed the change you made to your profile; very dramatic. I like it.

  29. Ah yes that, the message isn't for you either, but let me know if you crack it, Dead One, I spent quite a bit of time compiling it and I would like to know it is at least doable. I'll even give you a hint, it isn't a numeric code on any level, the 1's and 0's are meerly placeholders for another kind of symbol. As I told KnitWolf here, it isn't a very clever puzzle, meerly one with a lot of pices, enjoy.

  33. No it isn't, or at least it shouldn't be, though if you figured out the first couple of steps I can see why you would think that. I double checked and it seems to match up, have you started seeing letters yet?

  34. KnitWolf- You're quite welcome. In a world where I end so many, I guess extending one couldn't be that bad.
Caged- I have started getting letters but that one has me stumped.

This is what I have up to that point. Am I on the right track?

  35. Very good, Dead One, just keep going, it took me hours to get the entire code down, but you are at the easy part now, if you don't start to recognize some kind of pattern soon just return to it later with fresh eyes and a new perspective. No more spoilers, though, I don't think there is much risk of my new subject finding it here, but I'd rather he didn't stumble across the answer to a problem I haven't given him yet. Perhapes you could give me a lesson or two on cipher making, I don't know if I plan on doing something like this agian, but it is a handy tool to keep in one's back pocket. Let me know what you think when you are done.
